Since it’s Sunday, I thought I’d keep things a little relaxed today.
I’d love to share a behind-the-scenes look at our development process, along with a story about kay me’s newest “beloved items.” 

Over the past month, quietly and steadily, some truly lovely “beloved items” have been arriving both online and in our boutiques.

And honestly… they are adorable. So today, I’d love to introduce them all at once.

【Beloved Item ①】

The Venus Dress — a signature pattern since our founding

The Venus Dress is crafted from a pattern that hasn’t changed since the very beginning of kay me. It has been loved by women around the world, yet the pattern is so intricate that only a small number of artisans are able to produce it.

In fact, when I had just launched the brand, curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to take apart a Venus Dress by hand. It took me… five full hours. That’s how complex and precious this design is.

Even though the silhouette is an I-line (clean and straight cut), the generous draping gives it an elegant, sculptural presence.  And the V-neck brings a subtle “small face effect,” making it one of our true hall-of-fame dresses.

This season’s special recommendation is Mocha Grey.

We refined the color again and again until it was perfect bright enough for the face, modern, and still appropriate for work.

And of course, the beloved Navy is also available.

We are already hearing about certain sizes selling out, so I encourage you to check early!

【Beloved Item ②】

The Petite Venus - a magical 26-color monochrome gradation

At first glance it looks like simple monochrome, but in truth, the gradation is made of 26 different colors! That’s why it appears so dimensional and flattering almost magical. Perfect for work and for days when you want effortless elegance.

If you find yourself thinking, “Which Venus should I choose…?” well… you can always keep both at home and rotate them according to your mood.

This beloved petite print is also appearing again in the long-awaited Gather Dress.

【Beloved Item ③】

Quietly restocked… the White Stretch Tweed Jacket

This is one of my true wardrobe staples.

To confess… I actually own four of them.

It pairs beautifully with any dress,

and the moment you slip it on, your whole look becomes instantly refined.

The Stretch Chiffon Top — also quietly restocked

My personal obsession is the perfectly straight neckline. When worn under a jacket, it keeps the look crisp and intelligent - a small detail that changes the entire impression. This top is wonderfully versatile and truly useful to keep on hand.

Recently, kay me has been a bit “super active” (in a good way!) with so many launches and announcements. And because of that, we haven’t been able to fully spotlight these beloved basics that quietly return every season.
